The Cleveland Clinic announces its search for a physician to lead the Section of Diffuse Parenchymal Lung Disease, in the Pulmonary Department of the Respiratory Institute. The Section of DPLD includes five programs: Interstitial Lung Disease, Rheumatic Lung Disease, Sarcoidosis, Rare Lung Disease and Occupational Lung Disease. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to recruit several individuals within the Section, with a focus on expanding the clinical and academic portfolio of the Section. We are looking for a talented individual with a track record of performing original research and aptitude for delivering programmatic growth and innovative care delivery. While a large volume clinical practice is not a mandatory component of the position, the successful applicant will need to be recognized as an excellent clinician. The individual could be at the associate or full professor level. A funding package is available to establish adequate support for success.
This dynamic position commands a competitive salary enhanced by an attractive benefits package including medical malpractice coverage and a collegial work environment.
