OB/GYN Hospitalist in Edison, New Jersey

TeamHealth has an excellent full-time job opportunity for an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. This position's responsibilities include supporting a federally qualified clinic and a family medicine residency clinic. Enjoy working with a friendly, high-caliber team of professionals! Position to entail providing four to six 24-hour in-house shifts each month and serving 32 to 48 hours a month in JFK Medical Center's family medicine residency clinic and Plainfield's FQHC clinic providing prenatal/postpartum care, as well as Gyn services. Physician must be comfortable working with and supporting Certified Nurse Midwives. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified OB/GYN physician who demonstrates clinical excellence, superior communication skills, and has a focus on providing quality care and placing the patient above all other considerations. Current skills are required along with a current or in-process New Jersey license to practice. Other requirements include a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization; insurability for malpractice insurance; at least three years of active practice; and a successful track record.
