TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to lead our team as the full-time Facility Medical Director at Samaritan Pacific in Newport, Oregon. We are actively interviewing clinical leaders with experience leading an Emergency Medicine team. Samaritan Pacific is a 25-bed Level IV trauma center, located in beautiful Newport, Oregon. Newport is located along the central Oregon coastline, and is home for an array of recreational activities. You will be joining a well-established team. The Medical Director will report directly to the Regional Medical Director. The medical director should build upon an exceptional and established program. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, administrative, leadership and team-building skills. Responsibilities include: \ufffd Lead and manage 10 FTEs with a 17 Bed ED \ufffd Medical Director will work 6-8 clinical shifts a month and 10-15 hours of administrative time per week \ufffd Administrative and clinical responsibilities \ufffd Develop and sustain relationships \ufffd Impact clinical strategies and workflows that promote practice patient satisfaction \ufffd Improve value-based healthcare delivery

Established in 1952, the Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, located in Newport, Oregon, is a community-based 25-bed critical access hospital, which serves residents and tourists of Depoe Bay, Newport, Toledo, Waldport and Yachats. orthopedics, general surgery, diagnostic imaging, sleep diagnostics, physical rehabilitation and more. Many other services such as cancer and cardiology care are offered on a weekly basis in Newport by Samaritan Health Services providers based at the regional medical center in Corvallis.
