Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Ob/Gyn Physician to join our team at Geisinger St. Lukes in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a complex clinical department and clinical excellence in all aspects of medical and surgical obstetrics and gynecology.

Job Duties
The successful candidate will see an average of 18 – 22 patients/day and will be in clinic in Orwigsburg and Pottsville (15 minutes apart), OR time in Orwigsburg. Call is covered at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.

Geisinger Women's Health includes a network of primary care obstetricians/gynecologists located in 24 offices throughout a 40-county service area. Physicians are electronically connected to sub-specialists in maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, and urogynecology throughout the system.

Position Details
St. Luke’s is a fully integrated, regional, non-profit network of 14,000 employees providing services at 10 hospitals and over 300 outpatient sites. With annual net revenue of $1.9 billion, the Network’s service area includes 10 counties: Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Montgomery, Monroe and Schuylkill counties in Pennsylvania and Warren and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey.

Geisinger Health System and St. Lukes have partnered to build a new acute care hospital in Orwigsburg, Pa. This will be a 3 story, 80 bed hospital which will include an emergency department and full range of specialties and services. Our Ob/Gyn physicians will be supported by advance practitioners and sub-specialists in a wide range of health services for women of all ages.

Education
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
