For more than 40 years, our history and national footprint in emergency medicine allows us to achieve the highest standards in care, informed by decades of evidence-based data. A fixture in the community for more than 50 years, Rockcastle Regional Hospital provides quality healthcare to Rockcastle and surrounding counties. Starting as an acute-care facility in 1956, the hospital has adapted as healthcare needs have changed. This 125-bed facility provides a full range of care including Oncology, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Services, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and more. Rockcastle Regional Hospital is synonymous with the community it serves; the facility provides an array of programming to the community including a smoke cessation program, a Longest Day of Play event, dinners with hospital leadership and more. In 2018, Rockcastle was named one of the "Best Places to Work in Kentucky" by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. It is the only hospital in the state to receive 5-star recognition for patient experience from the Center for Medicaid & Medicaid Services.
