The VA Boston HealthCare System (VABHS) is the major tertiary referral center for veterans from throughout New England. The Department of Radiation Therapy is recruiting for a part-time radiation oncologist at the Jamaica Plain location one to three days per week through 9/30/2021.
The department has two linear accelerators that allow for full IMRT, IGRT, and radiosurgery capability. A CT-simulator and PET-CT are on site. The IS/treatment planning platform includes MOSAIQ, ADAC and Brain Lab software. Diagnostic radiology services include 64-slice CT scanners and 3T and 1.5 T magnets.
Candidates must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license and completed residency training in Radiation Oncology. Radiation Oncology board certification or board eligibility is strongly desired.
U.S. Citizenship is required; non-citizens will be considered if no qualified citizens apply.
