Trauma/Acute Care Surgery - Chief / Trauma Medical Director

Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to lead their Trauma Surgery team at its main Level II trauma center within the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

Highlights of the Position
  • Full time, experienced candidates with leadership background preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of practice experience required
  • Academic interest is a plus, teaching residents, GCSOM students, APPs
  • Set Block time for Acute Care Service
  • Significant emergency general surgery is a staple of the practice
  • 1:7 call schedule
  • Robust EHR (Epic 10-Star health system, top 1% of Epic organizations)

Work Life Balance
  • Minimally demanding call schedule of 1:7
  • Generous Paid Time Off annually, in addition to holidays and sick time
