John Theurer Cancer Center, part of Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center is seeking an experienced board-certified Gastrointestinal Medical Oncologist. The candidate should have clinical excellence across the broad spectrum of GI malignancies, have demonstrated leadership qualities, and is expected to further develop our large and growing clinical research program.

This unique opportunity at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, John Theurer Cancer Center, features the best from both the academic and private practice environments. The GI Oncology Division is focused on delivering comprehensive multidisciplinary GI cancer care, and is supported by a team of specialized surgeons, radiation oncologists, diagnostic and interventional gastroenterologists, diagnostic and interventional radiologists, and pathologists, all functioning within an integrated system at Hackensack University Medical Center. We have a well-run, efficient, and robust clinical research program incorporating both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials. Located approximately 15 miles from mid-town Manhattan in Hackensack, NJ, the John Theurer Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility that delivers oncology care across the NJ/NY metropolitan area.
