IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is looking for a fellowship trained, Sports Medicine Primary Care Physician to join our practice. This position has two primary components including serving as the team physician / primary care provider for Division 1 student athletes at Indiana University and joining a strong, collegial practice at IU Health Outpatient Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Practice.

Position Details:

70% dedicated time to Indiana University Athletics- a Division 1 program with over 700 student athletes
  • Medical care for student athletes, game coverage, serve as first call for athletic trainers providing care to athletes
  • Collaborate with other Indiana University staff in overseeing the health and wellness of student athletes

30% dedicated to IU Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine outpatient practice
  • Experienced, award winning team of providers including 5 fellowship trained Sports Medicine Physicians, 9 BC Orthopedic Surgeons and 13 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Full service outpatient office with sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons under one roof
  • Provide care for evaluation, prevention, and treatment of sports or exercise related injuries
  • State of the art physical therapy space, digital Xray, ultrasound guided procedures, and more

Requirements:
  • DO or MD
  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency and Sports Medicine fellowship required
  • 1-2+ years' experience working with athletic teams required
  • Ability to become licensed in Indiana
  • BE / BC in the United States
