The Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking two academic electrophysiologists to join a growing section with a focus on clinical expertise and innovative investigation. The successful applicants will join a team that has clinical operations spanning across New England and offers the full complement of arrhythmia management services including complex ablation, lead extraction, and contemporary cardiac device implantation. Our section is embedded in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine with more than 140 world class clinicians and researchers. The successful applicants will hold a faculty position at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

Areas of particular interest include:

  • Strong interest and expertise in clinical inpatient and outpatient consultation and device remote monitoring data management
  • Strong interest in digital health and clinical program development
  • Proficiency in implantation of cardiac rhythm devices including His bundle pacing, leadless pacing devices, cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, as well as standard CIED device implantation
  • Strong skills in complex ablation, including those used in the management of ventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation
  • Engagement in the education of trainees of all levels
  • Interest and accomplishments in scholarly pursuits and/or original scientific research

One recruitment will be for a primarily clinical position, the second recruit is anticipated to spend 50% time devoted to research.
