The world class cardiothoracic surgery program at Cleveland Clinic's Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute is seeking a cardiac surgeon to lead a regional program affiliated with Cleveland Clinic. The successful applicant will have 5 or more years' experience in the surgical management of acquired cardiac disease and expertise in coronary artery bypass grafting and heart valve surgery. The surgeon will be a member of the Cleveland Clinic professional staff and enjoy the benefits commensurate with this appointment.

The Cleveland Clinic Health System includes 12 regional hospitals and over 180 outpatient facilities in Northeastern Ohio. The following locations are all tertiary referral and teaching centers in close proximity to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with acquired cardiac disease and perform a wide variety of cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting and heart valve surgery. In addition, surgeons participate in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR/TAVI) and function as integral members of the heart team.

Requirements: Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery with at least five years' experience in the practice of cardiac surgery. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience will be with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

The successful candidate will have a joint appointment with Cleveland Clinic's Heart and Vascular Institute at the Main Campus. This position reports to the leadership at the Heart and Vascular Institute at the Main Campus.
