A well-established practice at a nationally recognized hospital is currently seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic surgeon. The center is located in the Capital District of New York - a few minutes from Albany. The hospital is proud to be named one of the nation's Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals by Thomson Reuters. In the whole of Schenectady County, we are the sole provider of acute hospital care. The facility features a modern 36-bed Intensive Care Unit, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, and one of the most advanced health information technology systems in Northeastern area.

Job Description:

• Case volume includes approximately 200-250 open heart cases and 150-200 thoracic cases annually.

• Must be a team-oriented skilled Surgeon in all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery, including valvular, CABG, and aortic surgery, thoracic resections (including minimally invasive), VADS and TAVR.

• Competitive salary

• Inpatient Care provided 24/7 by Cardiothoracic Surgeon and PAs. Call is 1 in 3.
