The Community Division of Duke University Department of Radiology seeks applicants for a full-time Interventional Radiologist to start Summer 2021. Duke Radiology's Community Division includes 15 faculty and primarily serves Raleigh, North Carolina, population 1.3 million. Duke Health is growing rapidly in the Raleigh market, one of the fastest growing large metro areas in the United States.
The Community Division's Interventional Radiology program supports Duke Raleigh Hospital, Duke Health's outpatient primary and subspecialty practices, and the Duke Cancer Institute's oncology practices in the Raleigh area. There are teaching opportunities, but no research expectations. The position includes limited diagnostic radiology responsibilities.
Candidates must be ABR-eligible or ABR-certified, completed an Interventional or Diagnostic Radiology residency, an Interventional Radiology fellowship, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina.
The greater Triangle area of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill offers singles and families many options for an active outdoor and social life. There are excellent public and private schools for growing families. The Research Triangle Park, a globally prominent high-tech research and development center positioned between three academic centers, has helped make the area culturally diverse and economically resilient.
