Job Details

The Section of Infectious Diseases and International Health and the Department of Pediatrics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth seek an academic Pediatric Infectious Disease clinician. For candidates with significant interest and experience, dedicated time devoted to hospital epidemiology, infection prevention, and/or antimicrobial stewardship may be available. The successful candidate will be BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and be qualified for appointment at the academic rank of Assistant to Full Professor. Clinical activities will comprise approximately 25% of the clinician's time at the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD), a tertiary care facility within the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Academic pursuits may be wide-ranging but significant academic investment is expected. The Section currently has research activities in the areas of epidemiology, public and global health, respiratory virology and mucosal immunity, and HIV and TB. Dartmouth has a number of other Departments, Centers and formative Clusters with strong infectious disease-related research programs in areas such as cystic fibrosis, lung biology, and immunology/microbiology which will provide additional collaborative opportunities to the successful candidate.

Qualifications
  • BC/BE in Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
  • Eligible for NH medical license
