IU Health Physicians is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our nationally-recognized lung transplant and pulmonary arterial hypertension team at Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis!

Our Advanced Hearth and Lung Care Center encompassign both a thoracic transplant program and a pulmonary arterial hypertension program. The program has the state's only lung transplant program that is a high volume transplant center with more than 900 patients transplanted. Additionally, our PAH program is the only accredited PH Care Center in the state.

Job Details
  • Full-time, Days
  • Monday-Friday
  • Night and weekend call (1:5)
  • 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient
  • Inpatient census: 14 per week
  • Outpatient census: 40 per week
  • Team includes 6 physicians and 5 advanced provider
  • Opportunity for teaching or research is available

Key Responsibilities
  • Block schedule: working in the outpatient clinic, covering the floor, or covering the ICU.
  • Caring for pre and post lung transplants patients
  • Caring for patients with advanced lung diseases
  • See PAH patients

Qualifications
  • Must be BC/BE in Pulmonary Critical Care
  • Transplant Fellowship training is preferred
  • H1B Visa sponsorship is available

Compensation
  • Strong compensation includes base salary and CME
  • Relocation assistance available
