Northwell Health Department of Behavioral Health is recruiting a full-time board certified psychiatrist to be the Assistant Medical Director, Consultation Telepsychiatry at Lenox Health Greenwich Village in Manhattan. We are seeking applicants with outstanding clinical and managerial skills who have a passion for leadership and innovation.

This is a unique opportunity to join the leadership of an established Consultation Telepsychiatry Program serving multiple Northwell Hospitals across the NY/Metropolitan area from a 24/7 multidisciplinary hub at Lenox Health Greenwich Village. Responsibilities include clinician recruitment, education, supervision, trainees, performance management, and process improvement as well as continuous collaboration with hospital medicine and behavioral health leaders across the health system.

Northwell Health is looking for an MD or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine and completion of Psychiatry Residency and Consultation Liaison Fellowship with Board Certification required. Candidate must be licensed as a physician in the State of New York with a minimum of three years clinical practice in psychiatric medicine and previous leadership experience.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
