Nocturnist/Hospitalist in Hilo, Hawaii

TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified internal medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team working full-time at Hilo Medical Center in beautiful Hilo. Hawaii. Deliver compassionate patient care with this established program of 12 full-time hospitalists (four day physicians, swing shift, one nocturnist), with moderate acuity. Physician has the option to work as noctunrist or a hybrid position of nights and days. Work a blocked schedule of five on/five off or six on/six off models. Responsibilities include some ICU patient management. No visa sponsorship available at this time. Facility Description
Hilo Medical Center (HMC) is the largest facility in the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation. Established in 1897, HMC has grown from a 10-bed hospital to the present facility of 264 licensed beds, consisting of 130-acute licensed and 22 skilled nursing beds, including a 20-bed psychiatry unit, a separate 112-bed licensed extended care facility and an accredited home care agency. The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center which includes the second busiest emergency room in the state that provides 24-hour care to more than 50,000 patients annually. Hilo Medical Center has been nationally recognized for exceptional care as a "Top Performing" hospital.
