Attending Physician, Psychiatry- Primary Care

NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

Responsibilities:

Take care of primary care needs of patients registered to the Adult Mental Health Clinic. The subclinic called mhCare, is an integrated care program, that is a primary care clinic within the mental health clinic. It is anticipated that there will be about 800 patients served for primary care. The staff includes, in addition to this position (all full time) medical NP, RN, PCA, registration, clinical pharmacist, 2 social workers, community liaison worker. The physician will be credentialed in the Department of Medicine, but will operationally work in the mhCare sublinic, collaborating with the psychiatry leadership and the psychiatrist and psychologists who care for the patients.

Qualifications:

• X waiver to prescribe buprenorphine
• NYS license
