The Department of Surgery and Duke Cancer Institute at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full-time academic Breast Surgeon to join an active and vibrant department. Clinical settings include both academic and community-based sites with excellent infrastructure to support translational and outcomes-based research. Ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology or Breast Surgery. Preference will be given to candidates with at least three years' post fellowship experience in an academic setting.

Academic rank will be determined based on individual qualifications. It is anticipated that this position will consist of clinical activities with the opportunity for protected research time based on candidate's qualifications. The candidate will be expected to participate fully in the activities of the Division and Department, including clinical care, research, and teaching of medical students, surgery residents, fellows, and ancillary staff.
