Vitreoretinal Surgeon - Full Time

 

FULL-TIME BE/BC FACULTY FELLOWSHIP TRAINED

 

The Department of Ophthalmology at UTMB Health in Galveston, Texas is actively recruiting enthusiastic candidates for the faculty position of Retina Surgeon. Must be Fellowship Trained and Board Eligible/Board Certified. This position will provide cross coverage care in our clinic locations on the mainland and island locations. Care will include examinations, outpatient clinics, and consults, and will have administrative responsibilities including supervising and evaluating residents, providing medical direction, and participating in committee memberships at the department and Health system level.

 

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with residency training in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery. The candidate must be Certified/ Board eligible in Ophthalmology and have a valid unrestricted Texas medical license.
