The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, in conjunction with the Veterans Administration University Drive Campus and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) invites applications for full-time gastroenterology faculty positions.
Positions are available with primary appointments at the Division’s group at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital and the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). Positions allow for time commitment at other UPMC facilities including UPMC Presbyterian-Shadyside Hospital. Clinical educators and general gastroenterologists with specialty interests are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree. Board Certified / Board Eligible. Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Graduating GI fellows with board eligibility are encouraged to apply.
- All applicants will be considered, from Instructor to Professor levels.
Service:
- Includes inpatient and outpatient clinical care.
- Research and focused clinical interests are encouraged.
- Opportunities to teach fellows, clinical trainees, and medical students are available.
