Full-time Endocrinologist, Norwalk, Connecticut – One Hour from New York City
Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist with interest and expertise in thyroid and parathyroid disorders and/or general endocrine to join our employed practice in Norwalk, Connecticut, located about 50 miles northeast of New York City in suburban Fairfield County.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. The position is mainly office-based endocrinology in Wilton, Connecticut, with some inpatient consults at Norwalk Hospital.
Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Astride a hill with a commanding view of the Long Island Sound, Norwalk Hospital serves a varied and attractive region of Southern Connecticut. The hospital is just minutes from beautiful places to hike, swim, sail, or just walk along the beach. Connecticut Magazine recently named South Norwalk as the “hottest” nightspot between Boston and New York City, with a plethora of theater groups and restaurants to choose from. Public schools are very highly rated. New York City is easily accessible by car or train.
