Trauma Surgeon

A hospital in Idaho is looking for a trauma surgeon who is available for an immediate ongoing locum tenens coverage need. The hospital needs a locum who can work night shifts, 6 p.m. - 6 a.m., and is available two weeks per month. The chosen provider will be responding to traumas. The locum will not be doing daily rounds. Types of procedures the locum can expect to do include appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hemioplasty, and chest all/pleural procedures. Other responsibilities will include vent management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheters.
