Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a nationally recognized and award-winning safety net healthcare system, with a major psychiatric component, and deep commitment to mission, is recruiting for Director of Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Services. The CHA Department of Psychiatry is known nationally in its own right as a leader in innovative, comprehensive patient-centered care, multi-faceted teaching and training, and practice-based research. Adult outpatient services are multi-site and include teams organized around special capabilities, including cultural and linguistic capacity, substance abuse, trauma, and geriatrics. The outpatient services interface with extensive CHA primary care services and operate in the context of relevant accountable care organizations.

We are looking for an accomplished, energetic leader to drive and oversee the continuing transformative development of adult outpatient psychiatry. The Director will function as a key member of the dynamic senior leadership team of the Psychiatry Department, taking part in developing and implementing innovative strategies to meet patient and population needs, in the context of patient-centered and measurement-based care .

As a major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS); an academic appointment is available commensurate with medical school criteria.

Qualified candidates will be board certified in psychiatry, licensed in clinical psychology, or licensed in social work as an LICSW. Limited clinical practice time will be required as part of the position. Candidates should have a strong track record of leadership and accomplishments, and possess a deep commitment to serving our diverse patient population, and addressing problems of access and health disparities.
