Established Practice in Northern MS needs B&B General Surgeon

A Memphis, TN based health system is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon for a full-time, permanent, and employed position in Northern Mississippi. Incoming surgeon will practice primarily bread and butter general surgery but must have experience with therapeutic endoscopy, breast, and advanced laparoscopy. Enjoy working with a collaborative and collegial team of physicians and an exceptional administrative team.
  • Call is very light.
  • Work out of one (1) hospital (150+ bed facility).
  • Access to large system of specialists, Wound Care Center, 3-D mammography/biopsy and large cancer center.
  • Step into an established and respected 2 surgeon practice. Replacing 1 surgeon who has transitioned into a leadership role. Joining another GS who has been practicing in the community for 5 years.

COMMUNITY: This family-friendly community is located in northern Mississippi, about 1.5 hours from Memphis, TN, and a little over 2 hours from Birmingham, AL. Only 20 minutes from the University of Mississippi. This charming community exudes southern hospitality. Mild climate, very little snow/extreme cold.
