Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Division of Hematology/Oncology. The ideal candidate is an accomplished clinician who is respected for his/her clinical and educational skills. Candidates should be Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Hematology and Oncology and must be eligible for a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. Special interest and expertise in hematology and hematologic malignancies, gastrointestinal, or thoracic malignancies is preferred, but not required.

The Oncology/Hematology Division’s clinical services include a busy outpatient practice, an inpatient consulting service, and a comprehensive chemotherapy/infusion program. The division consists of Hematology/Oncology physicians, oncology Nurse Practitioners, and oncology nurses both in the outpatient practice and in the co-located hospital infusion center. Mount Auburn has a full range of ancillary services, including a state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology Department, Interventional Radiology, Oncologic Surgery, Hoffman Breast Center Care, and wellness programming. Mount Auburn Hospital caters to a diverse mix of urban and suburban patients and is characterized by an exceptionally collaborative and collegial working environment. 

The Division plays a critical role in the education of medical students and residents. As part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, Mount Auburn Hospital participates in a comprehensive research program and has access to advanced oncologic services such as BMT and CAR-T.
