Emergency Medicine Physician

AdventHealth Celebration Health is expanding their emergency medicine practice. Join our growing team as a full-time physician in the new free standing emergency department in Orlando, Florida. This TeamHealth position will work between the main AdventHealth Celebration Emergency Department and the new Free Standing Emergency Department. TeamHealth is looking for applicants with a start date of April 2021. Preferred candidates are experienced, board-certified emergency medicine physicians. AdventHealth Celebration serves as a community hospital for Greater Orlando and serves as a major tertiary referral hospital for Central Florida and much of the Southeast. Within the 10 hospitals (17 Emergency Departments) of the AdventHealth system in Orlando, our physician group manages our one-call transfer center, along with one of the largest national inter-hospital EMS systems. Our EDs provide excellent specialty backup, only transferring outside of our multi-system trauma and extensive burns to our local Level I Trauma Center. Our physician group at AdventHealth Celebration utilizes a customized EMR version of Cerner and scribes are provided to all physicians. Established in 1997, AdventHealth Celebration was designed as a resort-style facility to serve as the primary healthcare facility for the Disney-planned community of Celebration. The 227-bed facility offers a comprehensive range of care in addition to world-class surgical sub-specialties, a robust ICU service line and a new coronary care center. This facility has been recognized as the most preferred hospital in the area annually since 2000.
