Excellent benefits including PTO, Paid holidays, company-paid medical/dental/vision/life and more!The Associate Medical Director works collaboratively with teams of healthcare, social services, and administrative professionals to provide integrated health care and social services to the community utilizing the Patient-Centered Medical Home Model of Care Delivery. Assures that primary health care services are provided in a caring, respectful, and culturally appropriate manner. The incumbent will champion the ongoing efforts to develop an environment conducive to positive experiences for providers, non-clinical staff, and the patients. This position will assist with managing the day-to-day clinical processes and play an integral role in Health Care transformation activities. In coordination with Human Resources, incumbent may participate in provider recruitment efforts.Promote the mission of delivering healthcare safely and effectively, using evidence-based methodology, while improving the efficiency and timeliness of clinical operations in an equitable manner through collaboration with the Operations Team. Respond in a timely manner to questions/concerns/problems raised by providers, clinical, and non-clinical employees; and work to address them in a timely and efficient manner. Share responsibility to manage innovative projects and track their progress to completion. Serve as the designated employee to assume the responsibilities of the Medical Director during his/her absence. Assist in developing and implementing system-wide, standards of medical clinical practice, medical quality assurance/management programs, practice guidelines and protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration, plus policies and procedures related to patient care. Assist in provider recruitment efforts to ensure clinics are properly staffed with an effective and balanced mix of qualified providers. Aid in the development, implementation, and maintenance of treatment and prevention services, in accordance with federal, state, and local community health regulations and standards. Collaborate with other providers and members of an integrated delivery system to continuously improve the health of the population that we serve. Stay abreast of current performance improvement processes and help implement and oversee clinical performance improvement. Provide direct care services in the clinics.
