Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care is looking to add a part-time, board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to their thriving practice. Work with a team of two pediatric gastroenterologists, one nurse practitioner, two dietitians, two nurses and at least ten support staff. This multispecialty clinic easily coordinates care with Pediatric surgery, Pulmonology, ENT, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Urology, sports medicine and infectious disease. The outpatient services include general pediatric GI consultation, a growth and nutrition clinic, an aerodigestive program and a new metabolic syndrome program. The team treats inflammatory bowel disease both medically and surgically, and has a wonderful platform to transition IBD patients to adult GI. Work in a clinic with access to a state-of-the-art endoscopy center and enjoy a healthy work-life balance in the cultural hub of Seattle, Washington.
  • 0.5 FTE

  • Pediatric sedation service staffed by pediatric intensivists for low risk procedures
  • GI staff volunteers regularly with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and participates as camp doctors at Camp Oasis yearly
  • Participate in clinical research projects for both inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic esophagitis
  • An ideal candidate will have well-developed clinical skills and is looking to help grow or develop new services for the community
  • Interest in Hepatology and motility is a plus
