Title: Hospitalist, Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Duties: The Hospitalist, Pediatric Hospital Medicine is responsible for managing clinical problems of patients admitted to four Cleveland Clinic hospital locations (Main Campus, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195; Cleveland Clinic Children's Rehabilitation Center, 2801 Martin Luther King Dr., Cleveland, Ohio 44104; Hillcrest Hospital, 6780 Mayfield Rd., Mayfield Heights, Ohio, 44124; and Fairview Hospital, 1801 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111). The Hospitalist, Pediatric Hospital Medicine diagnoses and treats children and adolescents with a wide range of pediatric diseases and conditions which require inpatient/hospital care, including asthma, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, cellulitis, and dehydration. He or she monitors the overall health of the patient and treats any conditions arising as a side effect of the primary illness. Teaches medical students and pediatric residents, as required and on call responsibilities and weekend hours as needed.

Requirements: At a minimum position requires an MD or foreign equivalent as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate or credentials evaluation; Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics; Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Hospital Medicine; and eligibility for Ohio licensure.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($160,000/year)
