Looking for a novel career pathway in Cardiology? Join our accomplished and committed team focused on advancing the care of patients with cardiac amyloidosis at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. This multi-disciplinary team led by prominent researcher and clinician, Dr. Mathew Maurer, will share research methodologies and a team-science approach across several departments and in collaboration with centers of excellence across the US and abroad. Since it is among the first organized in this rapidly evolving field, this full-time one-year fellowship is non-ACGME accredited.

Eligibility: MD-trained physicians, having successfully completed an ACGME accredited Cardiology Fellowship, preferred -- ideally with an interest in the growing field of cardiac amyloidosis. Alternatively, MD-trained physicians with experience in cardiovascular procedures, diagnostics, and care will be considered. Candidates should be eligible for medical licensure in the State of NY. US Citizenship or permanent residency is preferred. Women and members of under-represented minority groups are encouraged to apply.

Anticipated term: July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022
