The Department of Psychiatry at South Oaks Hospital is seeking a full time Division Director for our adult psychiatry service to provide clinical leadership and direct care for our busy unit in Amityville, NY. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with excellent clinical, teaching, supervisory and interpersonal skills who is comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. The successful candidate will direct, plan, organize and evaluate multiple psychiatric programs. They will oversee quality of care, patient experience, clinical and financial performance while ensuring program compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring strategic operating goals and objectives.

Candidate must be Board Certified in Psychiatry, with ACGME approved residency training, and qualified for a NYS medical license. Experience in a leadership position is preferred but candidates with the appropriate combination of experience and skills are encouraged to apply.

South Oaks Hospital is a 202-bed behavioral health hospital located on the Nassau/Suffolk border on Long Island.
