Nuvance Health Medical Practice Connecticut, formerly known as Western Connecticut Medical Group, is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist in 2021 to join our employed and growing practice in Norwalk, Connecticut, located about 50 miles northeast of New York City in suburban Fairfield County.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team with some opportunities to work with residents and medical students, as well as an academic appointment. The position is mainly outpatient based with some inpatient consults at Norwalk Hospital. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations as we continue to grow the practice to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base. 

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and the Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+ employed physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Astride a hill with a commanding view of the Long Island Sound, Norwalk Hospital serves a varied and attractive region of Southern Connecticut. The hospital is just minutes from beautiful places to hike, swim, sail or just walk along the beach in addition to a variety of theaters and restaurants to choose from.
