Midwest Nephrology Consultants, P.A., is a privately owned, full-service, established, Kansas City Metro Area Nephrology practice. The Board of Directors are looking to add two (2) additional nephrologists to our group. Midwest Nephrology Consultants was originally formed in the late ‘70’s and continues to enjoy the prestige of being one of the most respected and visible groups in the Kansas City Metro area. Our practice also serves several outreach areas – bringing much needed renal care to these underserved areas. We are searching for candidates who are willing to put forth the dedication for our practice and our patient populations through flexibility and hard work that will be necessary to thrive under the new payment models in the current value-based reimbursement environment.
Only serious, partnership/ownership-minded, pre-qualified candidates will be selected to undertake a comprehensive interview experience and review of a competitive compensation package.
Midwest Nephrology Consultants is also offering an excellent opportunity for a nephrologist who may be looking to be involved in our described practice model – but on a less than full-time basis. Pre-qualified candidates will be selected to undertake a comprehensive interview experience and review/discussion of attractive compensation and call packages.
Qualifications for both Full and Part Time Nephrologists:
- Board Certified in Nephrology
- Meaningful Use/PQRS Compliant (Not in a penalty phase)
- Certified E H R System Experience
- Recent (within one year) Dialysis Experience

Midwest Nephrology Consultants, P.A., is a full-service, establish, Kansas City Metro Area Nephrology Practice with 3 full-time office locations across the Metro area as well as several satellite and outreach locations outside of the Metro area. We serve as medical directors for 9 dialysis units and serve patients in 5 additional units. We provide interventional nephrology services for our own and other nephrology practices in the KC Metro Area in our privately owned, state of the art, office-based interventional nephrology procedure suite. Currently, 2 of our full time nephrologists provide those interventional nephrology services. Due to our increase in business opportunities, we would like to expand our FT physician group (currently 9) by 2 additional nephrologists. We also have 2 FT NPP's and will be looking to add another qualified NPP as soon as practical. Midwest Nephrology Consultants can provide a competitive compensation plan and perquisites which includes a fast-track to full partnership.
