The Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible nephrologists for a full-time clinical faculty position. The academic title will be on the clinical track at a rank commensurate with experience and qualification. Primary duties of the successful candidate will include a blend of inpatient (consultative services) and outpatient (nephrology continuity clinic, specialty clinics, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis) clinical duties, depending on the interests and expertise of the successful candidate. Additional duties include education of nephrology fellows, house officers, and medical students. Participation in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged, and the University of Michigan provides a strong infrastructure for pursuing research activities as well as opportunities in graduate or undergraduate medical education.
