Pathologist

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), an award winning public health system, is currently recruiting for a part time (0.7FTE) Pathologist to join a well-established and talented pathology department. CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS) and this position will have a faculty appointment at HMS and a clinical appointment at Massachusetts General Hospital. CHA is comprised of three hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro North Region.

• Incoming pathologist will be based at CHA Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MA
• Full service histology and cytology laboratory as well as an extensive point of care test network throughout the clinics and inpatient areas
• Each CHA hospital campus has a three shift clinical laboratory
• Part time opportunity - 0.7FTE

Qualified candidates will have Board Certification in both anatomic and clinical pathology, excellent clinical/communication skills and a strong commitment to our underserved, multi-cultural patient population. Previous experience with transfusion services, academics (teaching medical students and residents) and employment with a community based safety net system preferred.
