Clinical Pathologist Westchester Medical Center- Valhalla, NY Summary Westchester Medical Center seeks a full-time AP/CP or AP board certified pathologist. The candidate is expected to work closely with clinical providers in hematology/oncology, transplantation, surgery and obstetrics to offer pathology direction for all related medical, technical and regulatory processes and to provide leadership for process improvement. The candidate will be actively involved in training of medical students, pathology residents, and other house staff in Pathology. Scholarly activity is also expected. We seek an applicant with an interest in translational or clinical research in the broadly defined field of Pathology who will build and maintain an excellent clinical service. The successful applicant will join a current team of pathologists and PhDs that provide other pathology services including neuropathology, GI Pathology, GYN pathology, uropathology, hematopathology, hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, HLA, flow cytometry, molecular pathology, biochemical genetics and cytogenetics.
