Interventionist with special training in peripheral vascular disease opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut.

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join our team at the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute of Connecticut, part of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your advanced diagnostic and interventional management experience to provide treatment solutions and surgical interventions for patients with cardiac and advanced peripheral artery and venous disease. Join a multidisciplinary team of heart-failure specialists, interventionalists, noninvasive cardiologists and advanced practitioners as a full-time member of the cardiology group in one of New England's highest-volume cardiovascular institutes. As a member of the larger Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group, you will have a robust referral network, including private cardiologists, vascular surgery groups and podiatrists seeking your expertise to develop a regional center of excellence for arterial interventions. As a member of the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute team, you will be joining a nationally recognized leader in medical excellence and patient safety, as well as a Healthgrades® Five Star recipient in 2015 for coronary intervention, treatment of heart attack, and coronary bypass surgery. This position will rotate with six other faculty for coverage at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and may be asked to cover STEMI call at both Saint Francis and at Saint Mary's Hospital, a Trinity Health Of New England Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut.

The successful candidate should be BC/BE with fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology, along with specialized training in peripheral vascular diagnosis and intervention. We are seeking a candidate with an interest in teaching and training who has proven experience or formal fellowship training in managing PAD, critical limb ischemia and venous disease.
