The Yale School of Medicine Section of General Internal Medicine and Department of Internal Medicine are seeking a talented Clinician Educator at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join the core faculty of the Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine Program. Core faculty positions in the program are fully funded with ample protected time allocated for development of clinical, educational, and scholarly pursuits.
The ideal candidate will be a skillful primary care clinician-educator with expertise in healthcare communication and the psychosocial aspects of medicine. Completion of advanced training in relationship-centered communication (such as the Faculty in Training program of the Academy of Communication in Healthcare) is desirable. Ideal candidates will also participate in our resident community engagement and advocacy curriculum. Opportunities to teach in both ambulatory and inpatient settings exist. Mentored opportunities for scholarship and leadership within the program exist.
