Job Summary
Provides care to patients and can recognize, diagnose and treat injuries and/or illnesses. Examines patients. Takes medical histories. Prescribes medications and orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests. Counsels patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare. May provide treatment by methods of including preventative measures, drugs and surgery.

Job Duties
Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE, Glaucoma Ophthalmologist to join our Department of Ophthalmology in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Our new associate will join a collegial group comprised of optometrists, and comprehensive, oculoplastic, glaucoma, pediatric, retina and neuro-ophthalmologists. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or experienced glaucoma ophthalmologist to practice in a new state-of-the-art-facility. Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
