Hospitalist in Beautiful Coastal South Carolina!

Coastal Carolina Hospital is seeking a motivated Hospitalist to join the diverse in-house hospitalist team, which boasts experience ranging from new graduates to over 17 years. The team currently includes several full-time physicians as well as full-time NPPs, plus several local part-time physicians and NPPs. We are in search of a physician who is interested in a full-time, consistent daytime work schedule to partner with the hospital to achieve high-quality, patient-focused, and physician-centered results.

The Hilton Head Regional Hospitalists group are proud to be part of an experienced yet growing Hospital Medicine Department. They cover two nearby hospitals in Hilton Head and Hardeeville, South Carolina. Our team enjoys many benefits. Some details of the position include:

• 7:7 Block schedule, 7am-7pm
• No procedures (though procedures are welcome); respond to Codes
• ER admits are rotated
• Average of 15 total patient encounters per shift
• Full complement of specialists available for consults
• Swing shift hospitalist support
• Full time is 182 shifts per year
• Extra shifts available during the day (privileges at both Hilton Head and Coastal Carolina Hospital – option to pick up additional shifts at Hilton Head as well)

Coastal Carolina Hospital is a 40-bed acute care facility in Hardeeville, South Carolina, located in Beaufort County, only 25 minutes from Hilton Head Island and 23 minutes from Savannah, Georgia. The facility, opened in 2004, includes a 10 bed acute rehabilitation center, medical-surgical unit, 24-hour emergency care, specialized surgical services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI.
