Coastal living among the Redwoods, St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is looking for an experienced and savvy, board-certified Emergency physician to join an established medical group in one of the most beautiful areas in Northern California. In this full-time position, you will work within a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 General surgery, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery that boasts 20 patient beds, five fast-track beds and two trauma bays with a designated trauma team. This emergency department treats more than 25,000 patients per year. The first health care facility established by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange in 1920, St. Joseph is a full-service, acute-care facility with two campuses: St. Joseph Hospital - Eureka and Redwood Memorial Hospital. As one of the area's largest employers, St. Joseph Hospital offers state-of-the-art care, including cardiac services in The Heart Institute, an accredited Cancer Program, Women's and Children's services in the Childbirth Center and the only Level II NICU on the North Coast.
