Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Breast Surgeon to join our organization in western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights –

• Join our dynamic team of 3 breast surgeons, 2 advanced practitioners and nurse navigators who provide excellent patient-centered care at Baystate Breast & Wellness Center in Springfield MA.
• Our state-of-the-art facilities across the Pioneer Valley offer convenient access to the latest technology including 3D mammography and radioactive seed localization.
• Enjoy outstanding multi-disciplinary collaboration with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons and radiologists.
• Faculty appointment to UMass Medical School-Baystate. Opportunity to teach medical students, general surgery residents and to help develop our new breast surgery fellowship which begins in 2021.
• Leadership is dedicated to work/life balance and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications: SSO-approved breast surgery fellowship or general surgery with extensive breast surgery experience. Breast surgery-specific focus on oncoplastic surgery and evidence-based treatment plans. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
