Unity Hospital of Rochester (Rochester NY) seeks Physician-Geriatrics to provide assessment consultation and medical management for diagnosis and treatment of patients; provide medical care consistent with specialty training, experience and credentialing; provide documentation of all professional services using HER effectively; instruct and monitor nursing ancillary and support staff in patient care and management; communicate and remain accessible to patients and family members regarding matters of import to their course of care and condition; participate in on-call rotation and departmental staff and management meetings and patient care programs as required. Maintain compliance with legal and institutional requirements. Requires Medical Doctor or an equivalent degree, completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Categorical Medicine, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, completion of fellowship in Geriatric Medicine, and fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, NYS physician license.
