Blythedale Children’s Hospital is seeking a complex care pediatric physician to join our expanding Department of Pediatrics. This is an exciting opportunity for a physician who is experienced in the delivery of advanced medical care to children and their families who are challenged by complex medical issues and often medically underserved. The successful candidate will have an established reputation for clinical excellence, teamwork, and partnering with patients and families. As the children coming to Blythedale mostly come directly from an ICU, ideal candidates will have significant experience caring for medically fragile children in an inpatient hospital setting. Experience working in an ICU is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Care for medically fragile children admitted to any of the hospital units.
• Take part in the rotating in house on call coverage.
• Develop strong working relationships with referring physicians.

Education and Credentials

• Fellowship Training and/or Board Certification in a Critical Care or Hospital Medicine specialty preferred.
• Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in York.
