WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Specialty Physicians of Illinois is seeking a Board Certified, Internal Medicine Hospitalist in a PRN role to cover both teaching and traditional hospitalist program needs in our Hospitalist Program in Olympia Fields, IL . Franciscan Health Olympia Fields is a busy, community-based teaching hospital.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidates are Internal Medicine physicians who want to help support the Hospitalist Program in Olympia Fields, IL, and be willing to serve in either role as teaching staff with internal medicine residents or traditional hospitalist. Candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Physician will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • PRN Shift Schedule:
    • 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
    • 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
  • Inpatient volume:
    • 16 - 18 patients per day as subject to GME caps
    • 12 - 15 typical night admissions
  • ACLS/BLS required
  • Strong collegial support from specialists
  • 12 Fellowship/Residency Programs at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields in addition to IM
  • A Capital investment of $170 million campus renovation of the Olympia Fields hospital
    • 214 beds, support from major specialties and sub-specialties
    • Closed 31 bed ICU
