Pre-Surgical Testing Physician Day Shifts 5 x 8 hours with White Plains Hospital, 25 miles from Manhattan.
White Plains Hospital, a 292 bed, leading award winning hospital, located in Westchester, 25 miles north of Manhattan, NY is looking for a full time Pre-Surgical Testing Physician to join it's growing team.
The Pre-Surgical Testing Physician will perform outpatient preoperative surgical clearances (in the hospital).
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
- Hospital employed
- 8 X 5 hours Day Shift: Monday – Friday
- No weekend coverage
- No evening/ night call required
- Shifts will be outpatient (perioperative medicine clinic in the hospital)
- Responsibilities include collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologist and midlevel provider to provide perioperative assessments, management of medical issues/conditions throughout perioperative time period and some postoperative medical management.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRE-SURGICAL TESTING PHYSICIAN
- Medical Degree - MD or DO and a valid NYS Medical License
- Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of hospital medicine experience
- Training will be provided for candidates new to the field
