Partners Physician Group has openings for Interventional Cardiologists in Akron, OH. Will specialize in interventional cardiology and provide cardiovascular medicine services. Must consult with patients, conduct diagnostic tests to determine the cause and nature of disease, and utilize catheters to examine structural and ischemic disease. Additional duties include: interpret test results and explain findings; advise on treatment options; prescribe medication; conduct noninvasive procedures; perform cardiac surgeries; maintain outpatient call schedule; and perform echo cardiology, stress testing, cardioversions, cardiac catherization, and other relevant procedures. On-call responsibilities as needed. Position requires MD or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate, completion of a three (3) year Internal Medicine Residency, completion of a three (3) year Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, Board Eligibility or Certification in Cardiovascular Disease, and eligibility for Ohio medical licensure.
