Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Palliative Medicine or Geriatric/Palliative Medicine Physician to join our extensive network in Western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights –

•COLLABORATION: Join an accomplished division with a vibrant team consisting of colleagues from Social Work, Advanced Practice Providers, and Physicians. Our faculty members teach annually at national meetings (AAHPM & AGS) and have received multiple grants and leadership awards in recent years.

•ACADEMICS: Faculty appointment to UMass Medical School-Baystate with protected time for clinical innovation, educational program design, teaching, and grant activities.

•CLINICAL DIVERSITY: Inpatient and outpatient setting with interdisciplinary team support. Provide palliative care and advanced care planning education across the Baystate Health system.

Qualifications:

ABMS BE or BC in Geriatric Medicine and/or Hospice/Palliative Care Medicine. Outstanding clinical, research and teaching skills. Our experienced physicians can provide excellent mentorship to those early in their careers.
