Duke Emergency Medicine is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking applicant for a leadership position as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion. In this position, the director will partner with the Chief of Emergency Medicine to lead efforts enhancing diversity and supporting an inclusive environment within the division. The director will also collaborate with the Vice Chief of Faculty Development to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the hiring and development of Emergency Medicine faculty members. They will also partner with the Vice Chief of Education to enhance our ongoing efforts with trainees and students. The director will serve as the point person for the Section of Surgical Discipline's Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and work with the Section's Committee Chair as needed. Additionally, they will represent Duke Emergency Medicine as they contribute to the Duke School of Medicine's diversity efforts.

Candidates must be Emergency Medicine residency trained, board certified/eligible, and have a keen interest in being part of a teaching and learning community.
